The 16th century old Casa Rocca Piccola palace is situated in Valletta, the capital of Malta. This prestigious palace was built by St. John. History of the palace says, that St. John had off the Turks combating valiantly with their archaic and stubborn rival. St. John won the battle for his brave knights.

After an impressing victory against the obstinate Turks in 1565, St. John wanted to build a city whose grace would be either equal or surpass the beauty of the prestigious European cities like Venice and Paris. So, he had build countless imposing palaces and buildings in every street. Compelling palaces were reinforced with the strong bastion walls.

Casa Rocca Picola palace is one of the two masterpieces which was very graceful and attractive also. This is the only palace, which was embellished with a garden in front of it. But it was prohibited to keep a garden in front of the houses in Malta.

The Palace is well-equipped with a number of inter-connected rooms, kitchens and stables on the first floor. It has fifty rooms, drawing rooms, two libraries, two dining halls and a chapel. All the rooms are well-furnished with comfortable furniture and a great many fascinating paintings.
